My Story
Growing up in a family that deeply valued health and wellbeing sparked a natural curiosity in me to understand the body and how it functions. Some of my earliest memories are watching my grandparents practise Tai Chi in the park each morning, followed by simple, nourishing breakfasts of crushed garlic and fresh tomatoes. At the time, it felt routine but looking back, those moments shaped my appreciation for natural health and preventative care.
At 15, I completed work experience at a chiropractic clinic an experience that truly changed the direction of my life. I still vividly remember seeing a spinal nerve chart for the first time. The chiropractor explained how each nerve connects to different organs and systems in the body. I was amazed. It was the first time I truly understood how interconnected the body is, particularly through the nervous system.
That moment stayed with me. It opened my eyes to the idea that the body does not function in isolation, everything is connected. When one system is out of balance, it can influence others. This concept remains at the heart of how I practise today. I’m still just as passionate about explaining this to my patients as I was when I first learned it.
This early experience led me to pursue a career in chiropractic care, with a focus on supporting and regulating the nervous system. I believe that true health comes from addressing the body as a whole (physically, biochemically and emotionally).
For me, holistic health isn’t about perfection or restriction. I’ll always love ice cream and hot chips and I believe enjoying life is just as important as looking after your health. It’s about balance, awareness, and listening to your body’s needs.
At WholeHealth Chiropractic, my approach is centred around helping you reconnect with your body, improve nervous system function and support your overall wellbeing. By creating space for the body to function optimally, we can enhance not only physical health but also mental clarity, emotional resilience and quality of life.
Health is not just something you do it’s a way of living. It’s about creating a life where you feel connected, energised, and in tune with your body.
